2011-2012 Class Goal
Our class goal is to motivate every student to strive to their fullest potential with student-based learning in a 21st century education classroom.
I am looking forward to a wonderful 2011-2012 school year! There are many activities in the planning stages for the school and the class. More information is coming as plans are finalized.

Parent/School/Teacher Opportunities
There are several opportunities at the beginning of the school year to communicate and get to know each other. The first is Open House scheduled for August 23rd from 4:00 to 6:00 PM. Please drop by and introduce yourself!
Accountbaility Night is scheduled for September 1st. The 5th grade will begin with a Sound To Sea meeting at 5:30 PM in the Library. You will get to see a presentation, get details on the Field Trip, and ask questions.
Following the Sound To Sea meeting, parents will meet in the Multi-Purpose Room at 6:00 PM for a school-wide meeting. Following, parents will go to their child's teacher's room for dinner and a grade meeting. Rules and regulations of NC Department of Instruction and Warren County School system will be discussed along with classroom expectations.
IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO BE AT THIS MEETING! Please come.
